The churchyard at St.Euny is both a place of remembrance and a site of renewal. Many of the inscriptions on the headstones are being slowly eroded by nature and the elements. Colonies of moss accumulate within the shelter of the carved ornate lettering. Moss holds its own memory within its leaf structure of past changes in climate and air quality. One memory overlaid onto another.

Moss is host to thousands of micro-organisms and also provides a safe landing pad and a source of nutrient rich water for bees.
